BeGone MI6

Wow. Finding out that my old login from 8 years ago still works - a surprise to be sure. I doubt anyone will read this, so if you are, you get to hear my ramblings :^). Felt too wrong to just archive this place without a proper sendoff. This forum and this game brings back many old and fond memories, where we were just a small, random clan rampaging around a buggy and laggy Unity FPS.

It was a fun time - back in the golden days of 2011 and 2012 when the game wasn't dead and our presence was actually substantial.

I don't really remember now how the clan died; think everyone just slowly migrated away from a dying game on a dying platform. Seriously, who even makes multiplayer games in Unity? And to get away without monetizing for so long is honestly unheard of. What I do remember is how a group of internet strangers managed to bond through the power of the interwebs and one crappy FPS. Even thinking back makes me smile. Although, reading through the old posts was quite cringe-worthy haha. Forgive me, I was something like 13 years old back then lmao.

I still remember starting this forum for my clan just out of boredom, before the Nplay forums came (those forums are now also deleted). And I never thought that the clan would actually embrace it; some of these high effort posts are honestly quite impressive. Shoutout to TheMan's list of members - hit me with that nostalgia bigtime :^).

Anyways this is getting quite long and I don't really know what to say next. I guess if the most recent post was 2017 and most recent user was 2013, and if the game and clan are both dead, then it seems appropriate to send this forum off into the void as well. I won't bother deleting it - forumation kindly enough hosts it for free, but I am going to archive this forum so that there will be no more new posts. Feel free to look through old threads if anyone actually bothers jumping on - you need to login I believe to access most of the forum. Feel free to also PM users if you have an account because I can't figure out how to disable that either.
